Description JOB DESCRIPTION: Supervise The Underwriting And Claims Functions By Developing Policies To Ensure That Underwriting And Claims Processes Takes Place In Accordance With The Agreed Standards, Thereby Satisfying Customer Requirements. Assessing And Analyzing Potential Risk Factors And Deciding On Decisions And Ratings Which Are Acceptable To The Customer, Equitable To The Risk And Protect The Company. Provide Leadership To The Team Towards The Achievement Of Monthly/annual Sales/premium Target And Contribute To The Growth And Profitability. Set Up Effective Internal Control Systems To Ensure Compliance With Standards, Agreements Practices And Regulations At All Levels. Supervise And Provide Expense And Capital Budget For The Business Units And Claims Department For Budgetary Purposes. Carry Out Customer And Strategic Partner Interaction To Enhance The Business. Underwriting Audits To Ensure Correct Business Decisions Are Taken And Agreed Standards Are Used To The Full Advantage Of The Customer. Integration And Input Into Business Unit / Company Strategy And Typical Direct Customer Facing Areas Within A Business Unit, To Create A Department That Provides Specialist Support To That Business Unit. Operational Management That Relates To Interpreting The Business Plan And Finding Ways To Operationalise Requirements Into The Business. Drive Change Management. Interaction With Managers Of Key Partners To Enhance The Business Relationship. Develop, Implement And Maintain The Standards Of Claims Thus Enhancing The Image Of The Company. Ensure Robust Reinsurance Programme In Place Always And Manage Reinsurance Unit To Ensure Appropriate And Adequate Cover For All Risks Written Drive Change Management Within The Group And Report On KPIs To The MD.
