Description Compensation & Benefits Manager Will Support The DIRECTOR, HRM To Provide Technical And Operational Support For Effective And Efficient Management Of The Compensation, Benefits And Wellness Programs For The Achievement Of The Objectives Of Authority. Other Duties Include; 1. Ensure The Development, Implementation And Evaluation Of Strategic, Tactical Pay Structure, Employee Benefits And Wellness Policies, Procedures And Strategies For The Achievement Of The Objective Of The Authority. 2. Define A Fair, Equitable And Competitive Total Compensation, Benefits And Wellness Package That Is Aligned To HR Strategy And Corporate Goals 3. Develop A Consistent Wellness Philosophy In Line With Work Culture And Organizational Objectives 4. Maintain Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) And Payroll Processing For The Authority. 5. Validate Data For HR Systems Update Of The Authority 6. Facilitate The Implementation Of All Staff Welfare Matters As Required By The Labour Law And Existing Documentation Which Relate To The Terms And Conditions Of Service For All Categories Of Staff. Ensure That Compensation Practices Are In Compliance With Current Legislation. 7. Participate In Salary And Labour Market Surveys To Determine Prevailing Pay Rates And Benefits 8. Develop, Coordinate, Manage, And Maintain Total Wellbeing Programming To Reduce Health Risk, Medical Costs And Encourage Healthy Lifestyles. 9. Oversee The Establishment And Management Of Employee Counselling Services For Staff. 10. Ensure Mechanisms Are Established To Enable Continuous Improvement In Health And Wellness 11. Collate Inputs For The Preparation Of Annual And Other Periodic Reports 12. Appraise The Performance Of Subordinate Staff. Candidate Must Have; • Proven Working Experience As A Compensation And Benefits Specialist • Extensive Knowledge Of HRIS And MS Excel • Ability To Work Under Pressure And Tough Deadlines • Team Player • Leadership, Human Relations And Communication Skills. • Coaching And Mentoring • Strategy Formulation & Execution • Communication & Interpersonal Skills • Business Analytics & Decision Making • Branding & Reputation Management • Business Process Reengineering
