Description Resourcing And Learning & Development Manager Will Support The DIRECTOR, HRM To Provide Technical And Operational Support For Effective And Efficient Delivery Of The Internal/external Learning And Development Needs Of Staff For The Achievement Of The Objectives Of Authority. Again, Provide Operational Support For Effective And Efficient Management Of Human Resource For The Achievement Of The Objectives Of Authority. Other Duties Will Include; 1. To Develop, Plan And Implement Operational Workforce Plans, Ensuring Consultation With The Divisions, Departments And Units To Ensure Optimum Takes Place And Compliance With External Deadlines. 2. Ensure Adequate Staff On Duty To Deliver All Services, And Identify Staff Skill/staff Shortages And Proposals To Fill Vacancies. 3. To Provide Data Analysis That Enables Effective Benchmarking Of Services In Order That Decisions Can Be Made. 4. Ensure Workforce Plans Make Best Use Of Key Recruitment, Retention And Workforce Initiatives Within And External To The Authority. 5. Ensure Managers Are Regularly Communicated With In Relation To Workforce Performance Relevant To Their Services And Through Collaborative Working With The Operational HR Teams. 6 To Develop, Plan And Implement Operational Workforce Plans, Ensuring Consultation With The Divisions, Departments And Units To Ensure Optimum Takes Place And Compliance With External Deadlines. 7. Oversees For The Production And Presentation Of Workforce Planning Information, In Conjunction With Finance/PRME, For Board, Strategic/Management Meetings, Including Benchmarking Data With Other Stakeholders/comparators On Trends, Variances Against The Authority’s Strategic Plans And Associated Objectives.
