Description 1. Supervises Technical Staff That Are Responsible For SLA And Other Areas Of Technical Operations. Assigns And Coordinates Work Assignments And Resolution Of Critical Technical And Procedural Problems. 2. Ensures Acceptable Levels Of Performance Within The Technical Team. This Task Involves A High Degree Of Technical Knowledge And Effective Management Procedures Within The Technical Services Team. 3. Conducts Capacity Planning. Develops Procedures To Measure The Performance Of The Team Members 4. Manages Department Budgeting Activities. 5. Works With HR For Training And Development Of The Technical Team. 6. Maintains Technical And Operational Documentation On Processes And Procedures Of The Department. 7. Develops Plans, Procedures, And Activities To Support Business Recovery When Problems Occur Including Backup And Restoration Procedures, Vendor Agreements, Spare Parts, Data Retention, And Restoration Planning. 8. Stays Current With Technological Developments Related To Computer Hardware, Software, And Networks, As Well As Management Practices Which Involves Reading Publications, Subscribing To Internet Lists, Attending Conferences And Workshops, And Meeting With Other Industry Players To Stay Up To Date.
