Description • Harness Opportunities And Establish Relationships With Prospective Clients To Drive Sales. • Develop Relationships With Internal Stakeholder Units/departments • Actively Ensure Entry And Reporting Of All Prospective Targets, Actions Undertaken, Updates On Progress And Sales Closed. • Active Involvement In Product And Sales Training To Ensure Top-of- Mind Status Of Knowledge At All Times • Actively Identify And Report Market Feedback Or Data On Products, Services, Pricing, Etc For Effective Engagement Of Internal Stakeholders To Meet Customer Needs And Product/service Gaps • Liaise With Client Relations/customer Service Unit Or Appropriate Units/departments To Ensure Identified Or Reported Customer Needs And Service Gaps Based On Feedback From Clients Are Met, Considered Or Escalated Accordingly. • Ensure Diligence In Undertaking Duties To Reduce Possible Risk Of Losses (operational, Etc) And Maintain The Reputation Of The Organization At All Times. • Ensure Operational Activities Are Compliant With Internal Policies And Procedures As Well As Regulatory Requirements. • Develop Effective Strategies For Selling Products • Ensure Achievement Of Sales Performance Targets • Active Involvement In Product And Sales Training To Ensure Top-of- Mind Status Of Knowledge At All Times • Ensure Post-sales Services And Access To Such Services Are Sufficiently Understood By Clients • Liaise With Appropriate Internal Department(s) To Deliver Premium/payment Advise, Renewal Notices, Policy Documents, Etc. • Collate Schedule On Engagement Of Prospective Businesses And Provide Updated Information On Status Of Engagement With Them Other Role Details; • Tertiary Academic Qualification And/or Extensive Practical Know-how In Customer Service, Customer Relations, Product Sales (insurance, Etc). • Strong Selling Experience Or Know-how • Sound Knowledge Of Products And Internal Processes With Sufficient Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements To Enhance Ability To Deliver Expected Results. • Strong Interpersonal Skills And Coupled With Professional Integrity In Order To Command Respect And Credibility With Clients And In Situations Involving Conflicting Interests. • Good Understanding Of Insurance Services Relevant To Health Insurance Provision. • Appreciable Experience In The Insurance Industry Or Other Financial Industry An Advantage. • Up-to-date Knowledge Of General Economic Conditions Including Financial And Health Sector Knowledge Relative To Insurance
